After Christ's death and resurrection, it was done no more. Now we live in the grace period and the supernatural and divine are no longer needed. All the past experience is just historical fact/evidence but dead. tellallihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10164934978355580269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8743102750721348863.post-29926094792006367352021-01-15T12:30:05.439-08:002021-01-15T12:30:05.439-08:00We can compare etymologically the meaning of very ...We can compare etymologically the meaning of very similar sounding names Helios and Elijah. Helios is supposedly Greek name for the sun in general etymologically rooted in proto-indo-european language. Hebrew name Eliah means "he who really is god". If we know the Judaism is a solar religion the Eliah is just a name that means "the sun" basically. The summer starts in Taurus, so both bull and snake are symbols of Jarilo, Jara, heat of the summer. It is definitely worth exploring.oldeuropeanculturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07880222013739472782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8743102750721348863.post-58977465067268418852018-04-14T00:37:37.386-07:002018-04-14T00:37:37.386-07:00I have to admit, I kind of changed my mind on (re)...I have to admit, I kind of changed my mind on (re)interpreting such things. As it seems, most people back then had a more or less different perception of Christianity then today’s withered people. You have monks who cure the sick through crystal-gazing, to influential occultists in the Catholic clergy like Johannes Trithemius. What I am saying is that Christians’ of the past, definitely saw more in these types of things, then the modern eye can grasp.

On the side,I’d rather have a Gnostic-Scientologist as a neighbour than an American evangelist. :-)
Katharóshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16649693310029639154noreply@blogger.com
